BLKNOW is a Pan-African digital media platform published by Black Citizens Media, a non-profit advancing a New Africa agenda through independent journalism and citizen-led solutions.

We believe Africa's future will be shaped not only by policy or politics, but by entrepreneurs, creators, cultural tastemakers, and audacious thinkers who are building new pathways to prosperity and possibility.

BLKNOW exists for a specific generation: culturally literate, politically aware Black professionals who refuse to accept received narratives about Africa. Our readers and viewers want sharper analysis, braver storytelling, and deeper cultural insight than what the western media offers, and more rigour than most local outlets provide.

Our Vision

By 2035, BLKNOW will shape the global narrative about African ambition, creativity, and enterprise — influencing worldwide culture and commerce, reaching over 50 million people, and empowering at least 10 million Africans and diaspora communities to build wealth, scale businesses, and drive transformative social and economic change.
