BLKNOW is an African-rooted, cross-border Black media platform covering the ideas, culture and power moving between Africa and its global diaspora.

Africa and the diaspora are often spoken about as one community. In practice, the relationship is shaped by different histories, class realities, migration experiences, assumptions and ambitions. We report from that space - interrogating what connects us, what divides us, and what we can build together.
